Looking to buy a G Coupe, Questions...

Hey All...

I just got rid of my 2002 Maxima SE 6-speed...looking for something a little more fun to drive.

I have my eye on 05 G coupes. I am looking to buy 1 used with under 20k miles. My concern is, what should I keep a look out for...are there any problems I need to be aware of?

Are all 6mt 05's standard w/ LSD? Is it true that the 19" wheels are forged?

Lastly, whats the best mod for the exhaust to keep it stock, but a tad louder?

Any advice on my purchase will be very helpful.

yes on lsd
19" are forged
might want to add some high flo cats and/or y pipe.

you can def. get a good deal on an used 05' and with way under 20k.. if your looking at 05's i wouldnt go higher than like 12k.. no real major problems and nothing that your warranty wounldnt cover either.

i bought mine used, this site is great... do some homework on the car before you buy, you wont regret it!!

GL!!

Thanks for the prompt responce.

The ones I've been looking at range from 7k - 18k. I'm debating over colors...

Can't wait to buy one already, maybe next week

05 models are great! you wont regret a thing.

i disagree on y pipe or hf cat for better exhaust tone.
i would recommend plenum spacer + CAI combo. cheap, good sound and noticeable gain.

... keeping it stock aint so bad either.
