Yesterday, I had my dealer install a spoiler on my 2006 G35 coupe. The spoiler is thinner than other spoilers I've seen on G35's, in the sense that the spoiler edges end at the trunk door. Other G35's (not sure of their year) I've seen have this smaller/thinner spoiler and some have a thicker/longer spoiler.

So my question - did Infiniti change the spoiler for the 2006 G35 coupes? Or were there actually 2 types of spoilers?

yup sure did... you got the new 06 spoiler

03-05 spoiler was much better looking IMO..

 

You should be happy like tons of people. I got a 7am app to install
my 06 spoiler...cant freaking wait...

 

*dumb question* Can the 03-05 spoiler fit on an 06?

 

If you all ready have the 06 mounted, then I'm not sure. But if you don't have a spoiler, then you can use either. I personally feel that the 06 spoiler has a classier look to it. At first I really liked the no spoiler look. Then I looked at a few with the larger and a few the 06. I liked the 06. Got mine from Chad@infinitispecialists,you can find him under Marketplace, Great price and great guy to deal with. Highly recommended!

 

should be the same, I thought I saw a post on the positions of the holes/mounts being in the same place on the trunk......but I have a 05 so I'm good I like the 03-05 spoiler way more than the 06
