Good way to launch?
I want to go to the track but I have never been there b4. Well racing anyways.. I dont want to look like a fool.. Im a good driver and my car is stick. Is the surface diff on the track then the street? I would try to find a way myself but I figure lets save the clutch and tires and post to see if anyone can help first.. I did try it once and it seemed pretty good.. I was at 1750k RMPs and when light went I floored it.. There was no real bogging or loss of control(wheele spin). It just kinda went..
So what im asking is how do you guys launch and get good times on stock tires?

Well, the harder you drive, the faster your tires will wear.
Launch at 2,500-3,000rpm. When taking the turns, remember to do your braking before the turn and go into a lower gear, and you want to power through the turn as much as you can, and just push the car as hard as possible on the straights. But don't over-step your abilities as a driver...better off looking like a fool than wrecking your car. The key to doing well on the track is practice.
