325 HP for 07-08 G35 coupe

I tried to search the forum for info but didnt find any. Did anyone see the article for the NY autoshow a while back. I think it was the NY Times. They said the new 07-08 G35 coupes will get bumped up to 325hp. Is this correct?

Odds are the new G35 will have somewhere between 315-325 hp, because they want to get ahead of lexus with its 306 hp IS series. Can't wait for the new coupe to come out in Spring of '07.

It's simple. HP sells cars. Actually, serious performance guys focus on torque and getting as much torque as possible in the power band. Peak HP is nothing more than a marketing gimmick. If Infiniti wants to add more HP, the easiest way is to increase their redline by about 500 RPM. That would get them into the 310 - 320 HP range, but it may hurt engine reliability.
