Re: ahhhhhhhhh

Same thing happened to me. If you take it to Infiniti, you're looking at about 250-350 dollars. I know it's a ripoff but they give you some whole story about how they have to go through a lot of work. I would just try finding a local wheel repair shop. Sorry I don't know of any, I live in Miami. In Miami we have a "Wheels of America" shop, try checking if they exist in Cali. They charge a flat rate of $110 per wheel here. Good luck.

Re: ahhhhhhhhh

Along with my g35 coupe i have a fully tricked out BMW 330ci convertable. I have every AC schnitzer product on it. I let my firned one day drive my car and he completly sctracthed the entire lip of my AC Schnitzer wheels. I took it to a place up Lankershim in the San Fernando Valley. The place looked pretty ghetto, but there was a Ferarri 360 modena in the parking lot of the place that was jacked up. When i rolled next to it i saw it was missing a wheel, and then asked the manager of the wheel place wheres the wheel he said we are fixing it was sctrached. They gave him a donut wheel for the time being, and then charged him 200 bucks. 100 to fix the sratch, 100 to re chrome it. I found this place by looking in the Yellow Pages. Look under wheel repair.

If you want private message me, we can meet up, i have a huge scratch on my wheel to i wanna get it fixed too. Maybe we can get a deal going on you know.

No its not F1 motorsport. They only sell wheels. The place im talkin about actually fixes, chromes wheels. They also powdercoat etc.... I know them but the thing is they are kinda pricey. CEC wheels sends it there. I remember becuase i have having to go thru a middle man to get things done. I decided to go bymyself and find out. Wicked where you at man hit me up so we can meet at school LOL

dont start [censored] with me, im not in the [censored] mood you (*#$)(*)(*@#$()*#@)($*()@#$*()@#$*()@#*$. when the street is about 6 feet wide and cars are trying to pass both sides it gets little tight and to try to protect my mirror from being ripped off i came really close to the sides and it went right into the curb.

Re: ahhhhhhhhh

Ouch, there seems to be a bug going around Cali. Sorry to hear about your rims guys. **** happens... a lot... I was turning right onto a two-way street and someone came careening out of a driveway on the right side of the street onto which I was turning, sending me either a) into the parked car in front of me, or b) against the curb on the opposite side. Guess which I chose? Luckily I had two people in my car, and I knew there was a traffic camera at the intersection. I contacted the guy about paying for the repairs, and when I pointed to the traffic cam which caught the whole incident, he obliged.

Re: ahhhhhhhhh

Hey, this is a post for a follow up on my scratched rim. I was going to get it fixed professionally, but i decided to make it a DIY project. Anyways, I went to Kragen and got some Sandpaper and some touch-up paint. So I started hitting the scratched area with 1500 grit and started applying the paint. I actually got gunmetal, but that was too dark, so i went to Kragen again and got a Silver Charcoal color, which turned out to be a little light. So the I went ahead and mixed the paint. Turned out to be a very close match. I'll post some pictures in a bit.
