Looking at that page, I wonder how you get 55-60% bump from 287hp on a 350Z, but only 45-50% bump from 280hp on a G35 Coupe. Same engine. Same supercharger. Strange.

A member of our DFW G35 owners club has the 2nd procharged coupe in the country. Saw it this past weekend when we showed at Import Mix.

The difference in power might be due to the different intake placement, better intercooler efficiency with the Z big mouth bumper, and carbon fiber driveshaft of the Z. Couple other local guys here have theirs on order already. I might even do mine soon if things go right.

Any turbo- or supercharger will shorten the life of your engine. You're increasing wear and tear on the internal components. A good, low-boost system like this, though, combined with a virtually bullet-proof engine like the VQ35DE, and that shorter lifespan probably won't manifest itself for many, many years.

If their claims are true that you get 45 to 50% increase in HP, I’d be happy with that. That equates to 406HP to 420HP @ the crank.

I plan on purchasing a G in the VERY NEAR future and will most likely be adding the supercharger.

My current car is supercharged and is automatic. With all that power it's not hard to control. My concern is, I want my G to be manual but I'm not sure how driveable it's going to be with the supercharger. Anyone have any experience with a supercharged car that was stick?

 

the reson why the one for the G only get 45-50% incress in hp vs the 55-60 that the 350 gets is beacuse they are only running 6 puunds of boost vs. the 7 that they are running on the 350z. i dont know why they are running less boost maybe just marketing or maybe our drive shaft is not as strong or somthing. the 350z's is carbon fiber our is in somthing else
