Tire Pressure sensor issue
Tire Pressure sensor issue
Have to vent!! Sorry
I have a 06 AT with 7600mi, and the Tire Pressure sensors have been going off. I took my car in for 7500mi oil change Thursday, then it sat in the driveway all weekend, then I get in the G to go to work Monday morning and the tire sensor goes off. So I take it in Monday night, they get the light to go off. So this morning I get in to the car drive to Starbucks to get coffee, get back into the car and bam the Light is on again. I have been to the dealership twice so now they are ordering me 4 new sensors and I have to get them fixed.
Just had to let someone know

Well I hope it works out.
A month ago, my sensor lit up, and I wondered about defects.... When I got home, I checked my tire pressure and the one tire had like NO air in it.
Added some air, and after the weekend in Vegas, I came back to see it was back down. Found to be a screw in my tire.
Fixed now, and all good. So I know my sensor actually worked for me. I guess the reason I typed all this was to ask if you checked your tires to make sure that nothing's wrong. Visually, my tires looked fine, even the low one.
I had another concern about where the local garage plugged the tire and whether it would impact the sensor. The Nissan tech told me that the sensor was near the valve stem, so if you have to get it plugged, make note of how close it is to the valve stem. (fyi)

The first day i bought my g35 that light came on. i checked all tires, and the pressure was 35 all around. i took it to the dealer the next day, and they told me the censor just needed to be reset. no problems since!
