Remove embroidery on the seats or get JDM seats?
Remove embroidery on the seats or get JDM seats?
My current goal is to try to get the car as close to JDM spec as possible. Anyone know where I can get the JDM seats? I was checking out the Nissan Japan website and I noticed that it had a sort of alcantara or suede material to it. It might be easier to just remove the embroidery on the front seats however. Anyone knows how to do it?

personally i think you better off just getting aftermarket seats such as sparco, recaro or bride seats. one owner had his whole interior done up with bride seats. looked pretty sweet too.

If you just want to change the looks of your seats. You can have an upholstery shop add suede inserts or whatever you desire. If you want to keep the seats leather, they can remove the insert with the embroidery and resew in a new piece of leather. Should be under 3 to $400 But can vary on the cost of the materials used.

For the love of god, WHY?
Not to disrespect your goals man, but I think the seats and their embroidery are the best looking feature of the interior of this car. In fact, I can't think any that are better in a non-exotic.
To each his own I guess.

You'll need to convert your car to a right-sided driver to be really JDM !!!
