1)is anyone getting that little that clunk noise and that jerk feeling when you downshift especially to 2nd gear?

2)i have an 06MT. does is seem like its kinda harder to shift from 1st to second or is it just me? i can go from 2-3,3-4,4-5,5-6 and the shifter is pretty smooth but when i go from 1-2 it seems like the gears are touching or sumin like a little clunk and yes the clutch is depressed.

06 mt same thing here. from what i gather, its normal

 

1-2 shift is really hard actually. not even similar to the 3-4 shift and so on

 

It's normal, mine stopped doing that after I improved my driving.

 

06 MT here and same feeling for the first 3K miles. I think it's normal.

 

2nd gear is pretty notchy.. you have to shift at the right RPM where the G likes it.. it takes time getting used to.

As far as downshifting to 2nd I don't really have a problem.. it shift smoothly but then again I have an '05 so '06's might be different.

 

Yep..got that too, but only when the engine is not warmed up--And it's happening less as I get more used to the 1-2 shift. It'll get better

 

When downshifting to 2nd u have to blip the throttle more than downshifting any other gear.

Takes practice to get it smooth. It took me about a year.
