Thoughts & opinions on a possible wheel setup.

Might scare some of you guys away, but I am really tired of hitting unexpected potholes or whatever the road may throw at me. I've gone through countless sets of wheels and tires. I have been driving performance cars with performance wheels/tires for almost 8 years now. I am really contemplating a very different setup than the usual g driver.

here it is:
18x8 in front
20x10.5 in rear.

or 18x9 in front
19x9.5 in rear.

Thoughts and opinions? and obviously the tire size's would be according to stock tire height parameters.

Any opinions are greatly appreciated,

Mike

i like choice b... 18 infront and 20 in back would look stupid

18 front 19 bak is cool i havent seen it around thogh but its not the width of the wheel that matters so much as the offsets

+1. I agree out of those 2 choices, go with B.

19 20 would definitely look better than 18 19. 18 20 will look STUPID y not just go with 19s and a 40mm tall tire? like the stock 19s

If you really want the protection of the higher sidewall, get a 255/40 19 for the front, and a 295/35 19 for the rear. This will give you plenty of protection, as much as going with an 18, and yet still look great. The 27 inch tire height will not rub, and will fill in the fender gap for a precise look. The 295 rear would be .1 inches taller at 27.1

I have bent 3 different wheels, 2 were 18", and one was a 19". They all bend, and it isn't the size of the wheel that matters, it is the amount of sidewall and whether the tire is Reinforced or not.
