+1 "Yes sir we would be happy to deliver your car. So, you are about 45 minutes away? OK we'll see you in about 15 minutes then, bye"

You can handle this situation a lot easier without confrontation. Just explain that your 'wife' is 'terrified' to drive the car until it's fixed. Trust me they do not have an answer for that. Your ornery wife can has also 'already called Infiniti' and they told her to call back only if you couldn't work things out with the General Manager.

The other thing is to call them the day you are supposed to bring it back explaining you are too busy to make it in, "Not a problem sir just bring it in tomorrow then." Then do it again the next day. By now you only have one more day and do then it's too late.

If they try to get you to pay for ANY of the loaner cost just refuse to pay. It's supposed to be covered under warranty. Ask to speak with the General Manager right away, even though they will send you to the Service Manager first. Infiniti is being tight cuz they are still doing that fuel hose campaign and loaners are in unusual short supply. I got a rental instead of loaner last time I was in for service.
