Next week i am suppose to get an wheel alignment. (My steering wheel is not straight) i said 10 degrees off to the right.

I let my gf drove the car yesterday, she went up to a small sidewalk, curved and scratched the inner side of the right front rim.

It's not that big of a deal since it's not really visible, but the weird thing is the Steering wheel is now perfectly stright, I let go the steering wheel while driving on a highway, it's also straight, no problem at all,

Now my question is need I get an alignment or not?

 

If its not shaking or drifting away, you should not need it...

 

^^^I disagree. Not only should you still get an alignment but you should check to make sure that there isn't any damage to your suspension. Just because it seems like there is nothing wrong at the moment doesn't mean that there isn't damage or your alignment is still off. Better to be safe than sorry.

 

i agree, i think i should have an alignment done.

 

i also agree to get an alignment. anytime you hit a curb or something
that isn't normally on the road that you drive (say a sidewalk~!)
get an alignment done.

get her something smaller to drive.

 

they have great deals on Vespa's now. dont need to align those!!
