Re: Steering wheel wearing out???

Thanks for the advice but I don't think it's sun damage or anything like that after only 5,000 miles. It's garage kept and spends only a few hours in the sun. Most of the time it's in the shade of a building or tall trees in the morning till noon. I think I just got bad luck and have gotten a bad part. The other place where I hold the wheel right by the steering radio controls is fine on the left side. So i don't get it but I guess it's just my bad luck. I don't know if winsheild tint is legal in Illinois, will have to find out. Nothing is legal here so I doubt it.

Well I am really troubled because the other cars I've had with leather wheels and such have no signs of wear or fading after 60,000-80,000 miles.

Thanks for the input.

Steering wheel issues.........!

Davey your G is almost new, you shouldn't be having those kinda problems
this early. Run your car by the Stealership and see if they won't cover this
under warranty. I've read several posts where it was covered by Infiniti!
Good Luck!!
