Hi everyone,

I couldn't find the for sale forum, if there is one... so I figured maybe someone could help me out here.

A few weeks ago, I installed a PAC aux in box in my car. But I made a stupid mistake and scratched up the aluminum trim around my stereo. Its fairly insignificant, but being the **** owner I am, it still bothers me.

I've called a few places and got quotes. But the aluminum trim is $80+. One place even quoted me $152. Its a bit steep for some scratches.

So I was wondering if there were any of you guys out there who did a double din conversion (on an 05+). You guys probably have the old trim still laying around. Perhaps someone with a good condition trim would be interested in selling theirs... hopefully for less than $80.

Otherwise, I'd probably just live with it.

 

Hmm... so none of you double din upgraded owners want to sell your old trims? I'll try the audio forum. Maybe I'll have more luck.

Yes, you are in the wrong forum section. When I do mind, I'll sell you the trim piece. However, chances are that when you do get a person with a trim piece, it may have scratches on it too.

are you reffering to the upper piece with the radio and a/c controls? If so, i have mine from my 05 sedan (should be the same as the coupe) that i only used for 4 months when i switched to DD. I'm sure we can work something out. It has one very very minor scratch below the the "1" button. PM me.
