Replacing Back-up lights?

Maybe this should be in the DIY forum but i can't post there for some reason.
So does anyone know how to change these reverse light bulbs?
any help will be appreciated.

I don't know how but I've been wondering the same thing. I'm going to try it on Wednesday. If I figure it out I'll let you know.

I just changed mine a couple of days ago. Still need to get some pics up. I used the PIAA Xtreme White. Turned out real nice. I'll tell you this much... it's not easy changing the reverse lights. I had to take my whole tail lamp assembly out. There are 3 nuts that you need to unscrew. Two are easy to get to, but the last one is kind of hidden. It just takes some patience. Took me about an hour.

yeah having to take out to whole unit was what i thought..

well yeah if i'm able to replace the bulbs i would be changing them to superwhite.. personally for me, it's for the looks..

but i guess it would work well for your interest too?
i dunno hehe

What type of bulb is it? Wedge? 7440?

Bringing this link back to the top. Can somebody tell what the brightest bulb that we can put in there is? I tinted my windows pretty dark and i need something brighter when backing out.
