CEL, VDC, SLIP and ABS came on all at once
So I turned off the car...and restarted...and the CEL remained.
The car had been feeling a little sluggish and I was having erratic responses with my throttle when trying to shift.
Took it to the dealer and they said I had a wire harness failure on the Throttle Positioning sensor.
They pulled code P2135
But when I looked at the writeup, they replaced a part in my car:
Chamber Assy Throttl - 16119-8J103
Isn't that the entire Throttle body? I see prices for that part OEM at $473.96.
How rare is it to have the entire throttle body fail? My car is almost a year old now. With this new throttle, the car feels alot better. I even had a chance to test it out. (though I didn't want to since the part was new).
A stupid Toyota Tundra decided he didn't want to wait behind me at a light, so he pulls to my right. Light turns green and he guns it. I started off conservatively because I didn't know he wanted some, but as he took off WOT to pass me, I pushed it hard to almost redline in the first two gears. Built about 3 car lengths before he gave up. I didn't even need to use much of 3rd.
Made me love my car more

dealers do not rebuild throttle body is something goes wrong inside ur drive by wire (meaning no more throttle cable 100% electronic) throttle body then the whole assembly is replaced.. its just a Throttle Body, Wire Harness, Computer, Pedal.. to be simple...
that happen to me after i messed with the throttle body myself to install the mrev on my car- but the dealership that i went to , told me that it would cost me 900+ , cuz i need to have a NEW throttle body plus labor- did you get yours done at the dealer? and for only 400+ ??
