I've been reading everything i can on the G35 for months trying to figure out what I want. It's not a money issue, it's a value issue. Trying to figure out what will meet my wants for the least money. I like the 05 6mt coupe. I can pick up a low mileage one for pretty cheap. I'll probably do a brake upgrade but then again I'll proabably upgrade eveything since it's going to see track time. If you have the 06 and want better brakes, upgrade your lines and pads, next rotors. Then get some caliper paint and make your calipers look good. (I wouldn't go with gold just to avoid the poser points)

I was a big fan of the IP/BLK myself. I really want IP for my next one so I settled for stone. I think it works pretty well. Especially since they have the blk dash and two toned doors. It's definitly grown on me.

 

I like my 03 but I have the 05 19" OEM wheels. You're right about the fading, I paired my brembos with brembo slotted rotors and my brakes don't fade when I push them really hard.

All the years are nice, most of the other versions are just different.. I don't mind the 03 interior .
