If it was just the front or the rear, I wouldn't have a problem. But I need to get all fours up off the ground so I can change the diff/tranny fluid.

As it is now, I can't get my floor jack under my car unless I drive the front up on ramps first and the rears up on a block of wood. It's one or the other, can't do both at the same time. So if I get the front up on stands, there is no way I can get the jack under the rear differential because of clearance.

get 4 blocks of wood that should give u enough clearance. Also buy a speed jack.

Sal, If you have somebody line up the wood blocks for the rear, couldn't you pull the front on the ramps and at the same time get the rears on the wood? would that help......

have you tried putting 4 block of wood about 2"+ and put one on each wheel and drive up? that will give you about 2" so you can slide your jack underneath. That's always been the procedure on lifting slammed cars.

There are low profile jacks you can buy.

Otherwise, I'm thinking about a couple of other ways it might be able to be done. What about jacking up one side and then the other? (v.s. front and then rear). Would you have room to get the jack under the other side with one side lifted?

If that doesn't work, then I'm guessing you have to do it little by little. Lift the front just enough to get blocks or low stands under and still allow room for the jack to slide under the rear. Then jack each end farther raising the stands as you go.

Or put a hoist in your garage.

Yeah, that's what I do to get the rear up, but I can't get the jack under the front, unless I put it up on my low profile ramps. I've got about 4 inches of clearance with the front. After I drive up on 2 2x4's, I have enough clearance to get the jack under, but not deep enough to hit the jacking point. I have a feeling it's going to be a two person job, just lining up the ramps and wood pieces for all fours at the same time like GR8TG35 said.

I was also thinking if I get the front up on ramps, then use the factory car jack and get it up on one side in the rear, giving me enough clearance to get the floor jack under the rear diff. But I'm not sure what kind of affect that's gonna have on the chassis with that weird flex angle.
