My clutch feels softer
I noticed this a couple of days ago while on heavy traffic. Since then it has stayed a little softer than before but I can really notice it while on stop and go traffic. Is this normal wear of the clutch??? Could it be because of the high temp in heavy traffic?? (I live in FL) Or is it a sign of something else??
The tranny is not slipping or anything and there are about 1,800k on the odo. And I pretty much baby it. I'll punch it once in awhile but must of my driving is under 4k rpm's
Thanx guys.

Re: My clutch feels softer
I drive in traffic a couple of times a week with my 6MT Coupe and I haven't noticed a different feel in the clutch. Still needs the same amount of muscle to modulate. My driving still (if this helps) is pretty aggressive...I take the engine to redline once or twice a day and I like to drive fast.
Re: My clutch feels softer
Hey bud,
I'm not a car tech or anything, but from my own experience with clutch pedals - they will feel softer to press purely by being broken in more. That's probably your case. The key thing to note is when you feel the clutch engage, if that progessively gets higher and higher then something is wrong with the clutch plate OR your car needs more hydraulic fluid. But, as long as it still engages into gear probably, it's just broken in more=D
