clicking noise?

I posted this in the TSB forums but theres almost no traffic in there so id give this forum a try...

I have an 05 6mt coupe and when im taking off from a stop when im letting out the clutch i hear clicking noises, im just curious if this is related to the TSB with the rear axle? but it doesnt sound as if the noise is coming from the rear it sounds like its coming from the front engine compartment

im curious if this is normal or if maybe there might be an issue with my clutch or if its the TSB for the rear axle? thanks

since its been warm and I ve been driving with the windows down, i also only recently noticed the clicking noise on my '05 when i go in reverse or taking off in 1st, but its seems to come from underneath the middle of the car. I havent paid much attention to this until I read your post today. I didnt think that the '05 had an issue with rear axle?

My 05 MT does the same thing. The dealership has the parts on order to fix it. It has something to do with the rear bearing or washers.

I have been waiting for 3 weeks for the axle nuts, or so they say....

Yep, my '05 6mt had the same clicking noise. The dealer fixed it under warranty when I had the car in for service last month. The changed some parts in the axle and re-greased everything inside too.

I had this same clicking noise from underneath my car. It was very loud when letting go the clutch and crusing, kinda like valve tapping. I drove like this for 3 days cause I didnt understand what was causing it.

I checked my oil levels and it was very low. So I did my own oil change and the noise went away.

i believe draxxus is talking about the clicking clutch pedal. i posted a referral link in that thread... didn't u see it? i've had both the pedal and rear axle now repaired and both are fine.
