How much "felt" difference in power 06 vs 04

Can anyone answer to a felt difference in power between the 04 6mt vs the 06 6mt? Any real world numbers on acceleration?
Having a hard time deciding on getting a new or used G35c

It's just a torque and HP difference. The 06 doesn't really get up and move until 4k+ to me.
When I'm given loaners, which are the auto sedans, they feel sooo much more torquey due to them being automatics, so they have the older engine w/out the tweaks to squeeze the higher HP numbers out. Personally, I'd rather low end torque than high end HP.

But to answer your question, I believe since the redline on 05+ 6mts were upped 500 you can hit 60 while still in 2nd gear. However, I don't think there are any real world effects b/c of this.

I had a little heads up with a 04 6mt and I kept pulling on him. That was before I installed the mrev.

Power should be the same, 06 just have more upgrades (Bluetooth, memory seats, 19" wheels, Better interior, Projector ...etc) Plus why get an 04 if you can get a newer car?

Well hell, I say if money isn't an issue, get the '06. Besides the engine tweaks, the real difference is visual. I don't want to get into too many details but just the inside dash, trim, minor exterior changes, and most noticeable are the headlights. I wouldn't base my decision on the engine since you can just get the MREV+ and it'll perfom like the 03-04's and better (with torque, HP, and such) but everything else about the 06 makes it a world of difference (besides, it's new )
