Re: How About a formal Car Club?

I'm not sure what an "Official" car club is or what it is about, but it sounds interesting. I voted "Yes" in Ontario.

And just where the hell is Greenland?!

Oh, right, east of Canada. Nevermind.

Actually, a serious question, how many people are currently members of "formal" car clubs and feel they're getting alot out of it? I've been thinking about that regarding my OTG ("other than G35").

Re: How About a formal Car Club?

I do have one question about this whole thing. How will this affect those of us in the northeast or even the east coast. Will the majority of the events be in the West?

I think cars clubs, if done correctly, can be alot of fun and even rewarding. I would definately be interested if we could accomadate the entire country (and Canada also).

Re: How About a formal Car Club?

I'm just trying to stir up trouble, as I am part of the West group..and we were all talking about a club at the Valley meet in early Sept.

I am a member of the Ford Galaxie Club of America, and belong to the local SoCal Chapter. I guess my thinking here is that if you go so far as to create a car club (non-profit organization and all) we might consider creating the chapters based on geography in the beginning, should there be an interest.

Locally, it would be up to your geographical chapter on monthly / quarterly events, but it would also be fun to have "State Round Ups" or "pass the torch" type cruises between the chapters. All chapters would fall under the auspices of a main club..........................all that's really minutiae, since we haven't gone so far as organizing anything yet. This is more a "what if....?" type proposal.
