Hey Victor. I got mine from Infiniti of Tustin. When I bought mine, they still had one Sport model left on the lot with Premium and Nav packages. It is LP with Graphite interior... Although they may have had to trade that one to get my car... I'm not sure. If you do head over there, ask for Carlos and tell him that Adrian sent you over. I have his e-mail address too.. Let me know if you'd like that.

Good luck.

This is my first post here, but I have been lurking for a few months while I made my decision on what car to buy.

Well I finally broke down and bought a new 2008 G35S a couple of weeks ago... I was trying to hold out for the new 2009 G37S Sedan, but the deals on the '08's were just too good to pass up.

Here's how I faired.

I ended up buying a 2008 IP / Stone G35S Journey with the Sport, Premium and Navigation Packages. I bought the car on October 14th in Orange County, CA.

Retail Base Price: $32,700.00
Sport Package: $1650.00
Premium Package: $2,500.00
Navigation Package: $2,150.00
Splash Guards: $155.00
Trunk Cargo Net: $60.00
Carpeted Logo Trunk Mat: $105.00
Destination Charges: $815.00
Dealer Installed Locking Lug Nuts: $75.00
Total MSRP: $40,210.00 ($40,135 sticker price without the locking lug nuts)

Negotiated sales price of $32,500 with all rebates / incentives.

Total out the door price was $35376.76 including 7.75% sales tax, title, registration, and all fees.

I opted out of the special financing and took the additional rebates instead... since I put a large cash deposit down on the car, the payment ended up being about $20 per month less by going with my own financing.

So far I'm loving the car, but I do wish I had the 7 spd auto from the 2009's. I guess you can't always get everything you want?!? LOL

Adrian
Hah you got pretty much the same deal I got at Infiniti Tustin.

Very cool, Dan... Carlos was easy to deal with.. not the most knowledgable salesman I've seen, but I already knew what I wanted and he was straight forward and offered me the best deal around. When did you buy your car? What color and options does your car have? Just curious.

We bought our car on the night of Oct. 24th.

Blue Stone with the Stone interior.
Premium
Navi
Sport
Mats, Net, Guards
and Lowjack (was pre-installed from dealer they traded with)
They had to trade a G37 Coupe Sport with another dealer to get the car we wanted.
$40,455 sticker for $32,858 before tax after rebates (no .9% since I used my bank).

I actually picked my car up at Infiniti of Tustin on the 22nd (actually bought the car the week before), so just a couple of days before you. Mine's basically the same as yours, except no LoJack, instead mine had dealer installed wheel locking nuts. Carlos had to trade for my car, as well...but it's worth it to get exactly what you want.

I haven't seen any deals better, so I think they are selling these about as low as they can.

I wanted to ask a quick question, especially for you Houston and surrounding city G35 buyers. On an '08 Journey G35 with just a Premium package, what's the best APR rate you've gotten WITH the $3k incentive? I know you can get 0.9% WITHOUT the $3k, but I'm curious how low I can hope for. My credit union at work has 4.5% and I'm sure if I get pre-approved and show them that, they'll try to beat it, but I don't want them to come back with 4.49% or something. My wife & I both have excellent credit scores with stables jobs in this uncertain economy. I also graduated from college back in May so not sure if that'll get me any better rate. Thanks for your input!

Look at it this way. You will always get a better monthly payment with the 0.9 x 60 mth rate vs the extra incentive. I go through this all day long.

Oh I agree, however when/if I do buy, I plan on putting down about 20-25%, so with that, the monthly payments are actually lower with the cash incentive vs. the 0.9% financing.

do the math or just use the 0% for 36 months if you are putting 25% down
