Like someone said in the earlier posts, Infiniti increased the price of the base Journey by $400, and the destination by $70. Edmunds just now has changed their pricing to show the higher base price, but their invoice price shows NA. If you use the old ratio of invoice to msrp, the new invoice should be $30,077 give or take a few dollars. Edmunds is still off on the destination, atleast for my car it showed $785 on the sticker.

 

I'm looking to lease a G35 with Premium and Nav package and wondering how I should be pricing it. Do I deal with invoice the same way as is being discussed here or should I simply be interested in monthly payment and money down factors?

Options: Cargo Net, Navigation, Premium Package, Splash Guards, Rear Spoiler, Sports Package, and Trunk Mat. Having to flatbed it from dealership in Miami.

Total purchase price (excluding tax, tag, title) = $37,395

I think I got a great deal considering the cost to flatbed it.

According to what some people are getting here in Houston, I think we faired well in the purchase. Even better, my wife loves her new G35. We are proud owners. By the way, Martin at North Houston Infiniti is great to work with. My next purchase will be from him as well.

One clarification... Did you pay extra for the tint, pinstripe and wheel locks or did they throw those in for free? In other words, when you say you paid $500 over invoice, is that the invoice for the car with only Premium, Nav, cargo net, splash guards and wheel package?

 

And what was the invoice price on that car? When we bought the wifes Tacoma, the dealer straight lied about the invoice.

 

The dealer installed options were the tint, pinstripe, and wheel locks that we paid extra for. However, he worked with us on that pricing as well since we had no choice in the matter. Once its on the car its on the car. Sorry I should have been more specific. Invoice was 34,937. We paid 38,800 OTD.

 

Thanks for the clarificaion. I paid $700 over invoice in Houston last January plus another $220 for tint and wheel locks that were already on the car. Sounds like you probably got a better deal than I did!

Just picked up my new G35xS yesterday. Premium, Sport, Navi, Cargo Net, Splash Guards and Wheel Locks. I got a quote for $470 a month but it turned out too good to be true. I ended up getting it from Infiniti of Massapequa in NY. Breakdown of cost:
MSRP: $40,825
Paid: $36,994.24
Based on the edmunds invoice price(not sure how accurate it is) I paid about $670 under invoice.

So my lease worked out to $485 a month, 39 months, 12k miles. All taxes and fees in the payment. First month + Tags OTD. Pretty good deal right?

I normally wouldn't be happy but they had to ship the car in for me because I was specific on my needs and they ate the cost on that. Taking advantage of the 2.9 financing right now was too good to pass up as well. Car should be here friday :-)

OTD $39,445.25 - $8000 in cash/trade equity down payment

Also used Infiniti Financing for 2.9%.

We are a one dealership town. I checked Cinci and three Chicago dealerships. One Chicago dealership was about $400 less and one was about $1000 more. Other two dealerships were right at price I bought it.
