If you are really getting to the nitty gritty, ask them to lower the doc fees. They took mine from $250 to $100 without me even asking :shrugs:
My dealer wouldn't budge on the $400 doc fees. I know I got robbed on those. However, I just loved the car sooooo much I think I actually enjoyed the throttling I received! The 2008 G35 Sedan is truly a fantastic car. I really can not imagine a better vehicle.

Next time you decide to move your dealership to NC or decide to fly me out to SoCal I will definitely buy from you. Until then I will just have to suck it up and pay their outrageous fee.

I was pretty close to flying out there on Business and driving the car back. However, the extra 2700 mile trip just does not make sense on a 12K per year lease. I would be way in the hole from the start. Could you ship a car across the entire country for $400?

The cost of gas would be more than that...

Fully insured transport would cost approx 900-1200 across the country, door to door. Transit time would be roughly 7-10 business days. Training the car would be cheaper, but it'll take longer.

Anyone recently /lease in Connecticut area? I have a Lakeshore Slate 2005 G35x/premium/roseowood coming off lease - 2 payments to go. Best car I've ever owned (except for the gas mileage). I want to get: Blue Slate/G35x/premium/nav/performance tires. Probably will go with a lease-3 yrs/12k. Looking for a feel on price/monthly payment I should shoot for. Tks!

$39,500 to $40,000 out the door is good price for 08 journey5at+prem,sport&navi. pretty much couple hundred over invoice price. Navi is 2500 dollars msrp invoice is 2000. Make sure to use invoice price for all the options too, not just the car. So even cargo net is 60 msrp invoice is 40 so you save 20. some dealers might give the the idea of giving you a good deal over invoice but they get to make money on the options, work them!

I think metro would give you that price and its close to you.

I paid $37,500 out the door for my car.

IMO a good deal for a base G35 base model is $32,000 to $33,000 out the door.
