Door Problems
I have a 2003.5 G35 Sedan. I have a problem with my doors. Whenever i'm in the garage waxing the car, all the doors lock. When i'm driving around I notice sometimes the drivers door is locked,but the other doors are unlocked. I took the car to the dealer 6 times, but they can't figure it out. I asked the service manager what the problem might be, he said "I think your elbow is hitting the door lock". I almost fell over laughing. I said how does that explain the doors locking while i'm in the garage with no keys on me? Anyone have the same problems? Thanks for the help

I dont know about when your driving... but im sure you know that... if you press the unlock button on your key fob and dont start the car.. your car will automatically lock... or is it if you dont open the door ??

not if you never lock the doors after you turn of the ignition.
If I pull into my garage and turn the car off and don't lock the doors, they stay unlocked until they are locked.
I think they only lock themselves if you actually locked the unstarted car and then unlocked it but did not open anything within 40 seconds
