Picked her up just hours ago with 15km on the odo! (Not 15,000... 15!)
Thanks to all who helped me decide to get the 6MT instead of the 5AT. The 5AT is a great gearbox, but I realized that after owning a 6MT 350Z I'd definitely need to "row my own".
The trip home was a treat... even showed a punk in a Neon that was tailgating me what a proper RWD setup can do to a low-speed 90° turn (as he pushed wide and I cut it hard and clean).
Here she is... black on graphite... 35% tint on the sides and back windows... fully loaded less Navi:

and anyway... enlighten me on how much of a difference a G35 is to a 350z other then passenger/trunk space, carbon fiber driveshaft, and an extra pair of doors....

They are amazingly similar, which is why I bought the G35 as a direct replacement for the Z.

- faster (marginally)
- better handling (but again, surprisingly close)
- better drivetrain (the flywheel seemed much lighter, but that could be the driveshaft and other factors at play)
- better steering (more direct, better turn-in)
- better seats and better driving position (lower, closer to the road)
- better looking (much more of a head-turner)
- more exclusive (G35s, both sedans and coupes, are much more common here)
Reasons I like the G better:
- MUCH more practical (the Z was so lacking in space it drove me nuts)
- less harsh of a ride (the Z was pretty jarring)
- cheaper (believe it or not, I paid $4K less for my fully-loaded G vs. my '03 305Z Track)
- and last but certainly not least... more wife/family friendly!

I really loved the Z... take a G and sacrifice luxury for raw performance and you get one helluva ride! If you're planning to reverse what I did--go from G to Z--you will NOT be disappointed (just as I am not disappointed going from Z to G)!

I'll keep my eyes peeled for the next meet.
Any recommendations on a dealer for service? I'm in East York, but I bought my G from 401-Dixie Infiniti (props to Justin up there for a great buying experience). It's a bit far for service, though, but I hear Yorkville Infiniti is pretty poor.
