Does anybody think that the new bodystyle is gonna make this one obsolete?
Yeah, I have to agree the 2nd gen G35 is not really a new car, so it would be fine to buy a new one. I was looking to buy a G, but when I saw the way the new interior of the sedan will look and the engine changes, I decided I would rather wait for the 2nd gen coupe in spring '07.

im very skeptical about an automatic, 3600 lbs, 307 hp vehicle running 13's. i searched through a few lexus forums, and the fastest time i read was 13.9 (which actually proved it with a receipt). im not even sure if that IS is stock or has a few simple mods. car and driver claims the car ran 13.8 at their track, yet every car always runs slightly faster on their tracks due to optimal perfomance conditions. i still think the IS runs low 14's, and so will the new G35 sedan.
