I'm not sure how fast you can save money buying another car for the gas mileage savings help. Have to buy insurance, tags, maintanence, etc. Unless you drive enough weekly that you end up saving money on depreciation on the G35.
I was on course to put 40k on the car this year, the car already has lost a good amount of value (relatively) which is why I was able to get such a good deal on it, as the prior owner put crazy miles on it too. 40k miles at 17mpg compared to 40k at 35mpg, is significant, but im more concerned with saving miles on teh car, as I don't want to "wear it out" too quickly! I hope to have it for a LONG time!!!!
When I drive the Civic back and forth to work, and then get in the G, I get that "new car" feeling every time!! Its great!!!! :-)

thank you for your dull humor, and waste of space on this server. you guys should really thank the admin for letting you guys waste the space.
on a note that actually matters...
One thing I did find helpful in city was putting the car into nuetral at long stops (red lights, pedestrians crossing, etc.) I was wondering if it was worth the damange (if any). Also, I feel like bringing the car up to speed keeps the car working harder longer... in turn burning more fuel than just getting to a good speed 25-40 and just cruising. basically.. is it better to stay under 2500 alll the way to 30mph, or is it better to get to 30mph and immediately cruising?
