Whereabouts? I live in Chesterbrook. Did you know we are having a G35 meet in Valley Forge next Sunday June 4th? Hit the Northeast section of the regional boards to get more info. There will be lots of food and cars. Its a good group of people who like their Gs and good food.

06' Z (Revised Springs) on Coupe Wheels w/245/45/18's. Car ride is quality is basically the same, except with less body roll and better cornering.

Seems like yeahdickey and oggie used revised springs. According to the below specs, isn't the X more close to the unrevised z springs? Also, once the car is lowered, by how much more does the wheels tuck in? Thanks...

350z
2003 - 2004 - 350Z oem spring rates - 314/342
2004.5 - 2006 - 350Z oem spring rates - 314/427

Coupe
2003 - 2004 - G35 coupe with oem 17's or 18's spring rates - 314/342
2005 - 2006 - G35 coupe with oem 19's - 314/427

Sedan
2003 -2006 - G35 sedan AT and MT with sport suspension spring rates - 314/342
2003 - 2006 - G35 sedan non sport spring rates - 283/308

Sedan X
2004 - 2006 - G35x - 283/355

yeahdickie: Are your rims staggered? Does your AWD light come on?

Oggie: Thanks for the post. I'm keeping the stock rims for now. You've given me a good point of reference.
If you put some spacers on, would you rub? With Oggie's set up + spacers, dare I say I'd be...content? Ba ha ha ha ha (I don't think the "c" word is recognized on this forum)

Have both of you had yours lowered for a while? Give use a mid to long term update...

Thanks!

ShredX: Not staggered I am running 245/45/18's all around. AWD does not come on except when it suppose to (sliding out, full throtle starts in rain etc.)

Mikeee2: I think people make way too much out of the spring rate differences and worries about shocks wearing out etc. I think even with stock shocks and crappy roads, you will have long term shock problems, but not for years. I think you should just go for it and be smart. If you see a massive speed bump, or pot holes, etc. go slow or around it. There are a lot of us lowered X's now and no one has reported any suspension problems yet.

A set of Z springs on this forum as well as the my350z forums go for about $100 give or take. Just wondering how much you guys paid for installation for the springs? Any good installer place in NY? Long Island area?

Thanks...
