Would you buy a 2005 G that was a rental?

I am thinking about purchasing a '05 G sedan with 12,500 miles (about 9,000 miles as a rental). The only reason I am considering purchasing the car is price (24K) plus the car has the exterior/interior colors I have been searching for. I will have the car inspected before purchasing. Will there be any issues with the factory warranty since the car was a rental? Will I regret purchasing this car two years from now? Thanks.

***** NO!!!!! NEVER buy a rental... you know how people treat rental cars - they are like disposable vehicles! You DO NOT want to own one!!!

If i was to rent a G35 sedan.. OHH BABY watch out

LOL, are you kiddin'? I wouldn't go anywhere near a G rental. Those are some hard miles.

Look around our forums and read how rentals and loaners are treated.

Here's an example: LOANER ABUSE

I had a G35 rental, almost fell of the mountain after drifting 4 corners. After that i burned the 50% tire doing burnout in a remote area. Don't ever buy rental. Some people do stupider things that me.

I was so close to buying a rental before I read the stories here. Then I decided I'd buy a base sedan for a few K more and give up some of the premium stuff. I just felt better knowing my car has not been dogged...unless by me ; )
