If that's correct than I'll keep it maxed out on the rears and just match the fronts.

Quote: question for the many guys who played around with like 3+ spring combos.

I went G springs to Z springs to coilovers. G springs i dont remember why i didn't like but it wasn't low enough. Z i rubbed in the rear. Coils are just right.

Now i swap out every winter to OEM. And well this is 2nd winter and i honestly think i'm done with it. Possibly consider selling the coils and getting a set of springs and calling it a day. The Z all around revised and unrevised were too low for me to be driving all year round. It was a great height other then me rubbing but no way will i do that in the winter. Looking around these pictures and from my memory. there is about 5 finger gaps on stock setup. I'm looking for something that will leave me 2 finger gaps that will give a very close to OEM ride. I think the coupe springs will be the answer but i'm looking at the aftermarket area now.

So pretty much something not slammed but lower then stock. I need my AWD to be very driveable in the winter. Coupes and H-tech for the sedan the only options? I cant for the life of me remember why i didn't like the coupe suspension, i had them on a week and just took them off.
Do what I do every dam winter for my wife swap out the rears and put the coupe springs and shocks on. As for the front I rise it about 1" becomes very drivable in the snow. Total time is about 2 hrs.

because some people say the rears will not raise high enought. You will have a droopy butt.

me and a couple owners of coilovers in the past have blown our shocks, woke up and found our cars slammed to the ground and oil/fluids all over the place. These were with K-sports on other cars. 2 people with Megan racing. I put BC coils right with them. Maybe they are better in terms of build but i dont want them to blow. Plus its only a few hours of my time, doesn't cost me much at all. The amount of time it takes to raise up the car could be equal to the amount of time to swap out suspension.

Now if you cant do anything yourself then just leave them on.

You might try what I have (Coupes in the front and Sedan Sports in the rear). It's lower than stock, but high enough for driving around in the snow. The ride feels stock and there aren't any camber issues. I guess you could just go Coupes all around, but it seems like the rear sags a bit if you do that.

Anyway, just an idea.

will adding the 350z struts along with the springs provide a bigger drop than the springs alone?

somewhere in the middle i forget if they were 32 settings or like 16. either way mines in the middle with 3-5 extra on the softside and in the middle for the rear. The front setting is something i noticed right away but the rear i cant feel a difference

Depends on how low you want to go? H&R are a great choice. my eibach pro kit springs are fine i love them they are not to low and not to high. Tein s-tech are not bad there are alot of people using them also.

Well when you come back here and complain about the bumpy ride or your back end looks lower then the front. Just look back at my post and see why I suggested coilovers.

Go S-techs. I am running them on my X and the drop is very good. Ride is stiffer than OEM but not bad at all. I prefer it. But as said before, springs do not let you have a even drop front to back. Coils will allow for a even drop all around and adjustable height/dampening settings.
