Thats wierd...the 350z springs should lower the sedan. As far as cutting, I highly recommend not doing it.

I agree don't ever cut the springs, but the suspension was previously on a Z and I'm sure it's had a chance to settle already.

It hasn't had a chance to settle on his car though. I waited for about 2 weeks before I got an alignment. I also noticed more of a drop after a few days as well. My springs were used as well. Go jack your car up, then drop it back down. Tell me it doesn't sit higher until you move it from that position.

He has had his springs on for over a week.

Maybe they aren't Z springs. It's not possible to put a shorter spring on and the car set higher. AFter a week, it should have been noticeable.

Was this right after you put them on. They will settle once the suspension moves a little. If it does not go down, they are not 350Z springs. I would not cut any spring for your G unless it is a non-progressive.

dude, you got hosed on your springs.... it is a possibility they aren't 350z springs....

after putting one week old '05 350z springs on my 6mt, wheel gap went front 4 finger gap to 2 finger gap immediately after removing the jacks...

these are 350z springs..they definetly dropped, was at 5 to 1 1/2 fingers..rear was 5 to 2 fingers...got an alignment right after..

I just notice the other day that, I can fit 2 fingers under the rear..so it has risen 1/2 finger up..and the front as well..

I thought it would settle lower, but instead it actually went higher, which was wierd..so I was wondering if anyone else had that same situation?
