Seat problem thread?

To the best of my judgement, the seats are for thinner folks. My dad is 6'0 and about 300 lbs and felt the seats were a bit "tight". He drives a 300c (HUGE seats).

I'm 6'1' and about 170lbs, I think the seats are great.

5'11" 160lbs.
I changed to coupe seats because the sedan seats were too big for me and did not offer enough support.

there was this post about "things you dont like about you G" http://https://g35driver.com/forums/...at+circulation

and then there was this post

https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...at+circulation

both were around 4-5 pages a go.

more or less, i am around your dads ,size, but not sure if we are exactly shaped the same. shoes, clothes, suits, etc... all are hard to find, so far its seeming cars are as well.

but keep em comin, theres gotta be a few massive people here.

6.6 and 250 and I found the Sedan to be more comfortable than the coupe. Before buying my G, I test drove a Lexus IS350 and I could fit in the car. With the seat all the way down and back, my head hit the roof??

Since I am much smaller than you and the coupe seats fit me great I am not in shock.

6'4", 205 (and falling ) and the seat's fine. A lot of people see me get into the car, and think it might be a bit small; I think it fits like a glove. This is the first car I've owned that I didn't feel like I had to have the seat full-back to be comfortable.

6'4" ~285#'s. A little tight in the **** but not that bad. More important for me was leg room. I dive the car a lot in the summer, like 400 miles in a weekend and I don't have any issues with the controls, most of the time I forget they are there.

6'1.5" 196 lbs--seat fits great. The whole seat causing leg to go numb thread almost had me buying a TL. Thank God I did not and thank God the seat does not bother me at all.

I heard the early doggie door G sedans had more of a problem and the later ones 2003.5 were revised a bit

I'm 6'1" and 280#. No problems with the seats. Very comfortable after 30K miles. No problem to reach the seat controls though once the seat is adjusted, I think I've touched the controls maybe twice. I have the seats and wheel that automatically adjust for me and my wife depending on the FOB. BTW, she's 5'3" and 125#. She also likes the seats.

I'm about 5'10" and 166 lbs.. the seats S-U-C-K! I have to keep my wallet in my back left pocket when it resides in the back of my pants because otherwise it makes my leg go numb because of the seat controls.. Infiniti knows this... That's why they took them off the seats for the new G35... Also, they aren't overly supportive.. I sat in a Mazda3 S and the seats were way, way more supportive and sportier. I wish I could rip the seats out of a Mazda3 and put them in my car.. THEN I would be complete.

Also, I did a five hour road trip with the car and the seat is very comfortable for the first 3 hours but after that the lack of support really starts to get to me.

5'10" - 225, very square frame with a little jiggle.

I find no issues with the seats unlike my Titans or even that of my old Volvo's when getting out, I was pushing down the side bolster enough to always move the back rest. Very annoying.

I do find the sedan seats lack a little support, but still fairly comfortable. Still wish the seat would tilt back a little more. Always feel like I'm about to slide foward, out of the seat.

Best seats I tried....Volvo S60R. Very comfortable but zero rear leg room.

hey here is a news flash, they have a TSB about the seat discomfort, they remove a piece of hard plastic between the seat and the controls and replace it with something nice and soft so your fat legs don't hurt
