Auto headlight always on?

I keep my headlight selector in the Auto position. Suddenly, it seems as though the headlights are always on, regardless of how bright it is. Has anyone had the sensor go out on them? Where is this sensor? Maybe it has become blocked or something?

The sensor is on the dashboard up near the base of the window, it's a small black sensor.

maybe you have a big, fat dustbunny sitting right on top of your sensor.

i'd check the TSB threads and see if it's listed under there.

Now now now g35girl - I keep my G far too clean for such accusations. I think that the problem may be too many coats of Aerospace 303 on the dash. That's the only thing I can think of - that maybe I gunk'd up the sensor when treating the dash. I'll de-gunk it this weekend and let you all know how it goes.
