The website only shows '03/'04 kits, but why not give them a call or post a question on their forum and see if they are working on anything for the newer models.

Yeah, I paid something like ~$1850 for the front x-drilled/slotted 4 piston fronts, oem slotted rears, HPS pads and Goodrich lines. It was a great deal. I felt like I was getting the Stoptech fronts and the rear oem kit for free.

Why did you wait so long to install the kit? I go nuts if I can't put my mods on within a few hours of getting them much less 6+ months.

The guy that was going to do it for me was real busy with other projects and then the weather got bad (all that rain we were having here). Plus, I needed new tires on my aftermarket wheels and I didn't know if my stockers would fit over the BBK. There were a lot of reasons I guess. We're having a big meet in Monterey this Saturday, so that got me off my butt and ready to go.

Not quite sure if they would offer the same kit. The 05+ sedans already come with 12.6" rotors and twin piston calipers.

I don't think it would be worth it for the 05+.
03-04 on the other hand; big upgrade! Anyone with heavier/larger aftermarket wheels should get it.

Sweet upgrade, Cru. Once I get my coupe modded up, it will be time to do the same to the sedan. Thanks for being the test bed.

i guess the brake pads for this kit are bigger than oem's, So we don't have
many choices to upgrade better pads?

No, this kit uses the stock OE calipers on '03, '04 cars so all those different aftermarket pads can still be used. Shameless plug but I have the front OEM calipers from my '04 ifor sale if for some reason any '05+ owner wants to do this Racing Brake kit.

Eloy, what have your impressions been of the RacingBrake kit so far? I noticed today just how sloppy my OEM brakes are after getting a ride in Igor's (codeflux) sedan with Stoptech stage II kit. I am doing some brake shopping, so I'd love to hear how these feel.

My OEM brakes seem to have a very uneven brake bias to the front and grab very poorly and sloppy, so I'm deperate!

So far I have noticed that the RacingBrakes are not as touchy as the stock breaks. It took some getting used to as I was used to gently applying presure on the brake pedal. The new brakes seem to ease into stopping and then they really grab on. I haven't noticed any improvement in stopping distance and I have not experienced any fading although I haven't worked the brakes hard enough to produce that kind of heat. I haven't had time to run through any twisties yet.

The 05 X (AWD Sedan) still has the same brakes as the 03-04 so it would be worth the upgrade if you have an 05 X like me
