GTSPEC 4 point chassis brace

I am bummed! It looks like the 4 point chassis brace by GTSPEC will not fit the G35 Sedan without some modifications, like drilling a threaded hole in the chassis like the 350Z has. The distance of the brace is about 1/2 inch different from the existing chassis holes. The opening of the rear most chassis holes do not allow for insertion of the bolt adaptors. I have included some pics. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. This will fit if I could have a chassis hole drilled and threaded like the 350Z. This is something I cannot do by myself.

More pics. The white thing is a bolt adaptor that is supposed to fit through the drilled hole and align with the adjacent hole. It is supposed to be narrower in one direction to allow insertion into the hole, then aligned with the adjacent bolting hole. It is too wide in the narrow dimension.
This also does not work. GTSPEC needs to manufacture a 4 point brace designed for the G35......

Here is the 350Z chassis. Now I have to send the brace back to GTSPEC or sell it locally here in the Houston area. Ken at GTSPEC is looking at the photos and working with their Engineering dept for a possible fix to fit this to my G. My fingers are crossed.

Is it possible to use hole adpaters that are shorter?
or, open up / slot the existing holes on the 4-point GTSPEC brace
in order to allow the bolt to be fitted in properly?

your best bet is to modify the brace to make it fit, instead of your car of course

well, if you really want to make it work on your car, I think it is not that hard to give that half an inch of clearance by slotting the existing holes on the GTSPEC brace
(you might have to slot all four holes to give the required half inch)

Good luck !

Would you consider selling the brace to someone not in the Houston area?

1. So the rear holes are their the right place?
2. Is the issue in the rear with the bolt adaptors a issue that a side hole or alternate hole did not exist that was large enough to slip the adaptors in place?
3. The front holes do not exist and would have to be drilled and tapped?

Just trying to make sure I understand what you found out, thanks for the pics and the time you took to post the thread btw.

Sure, as long as the buyer pays my GTSPEC price and shipping. PM me.
My deal with GTSPEC allows for a full refund and return shipping if it does not fit. However, these 4 point braces seem to be be in very short supply. It took a couple of months to get one shipped to me for a test fit. I am waiting on a response from GTSPEC. Hopefully they might have some installation suggestions. I really want this to fit my G35 Sedan!

1) I think the rearmost hole is foreward 1/2 inch too far.
2) the foreward most rear hole is too narrow to fit the adaptor thru.
3) The front holes do exist. The first front hole is super wide and allows the adaptor to be inserted

18 pounds per wheel. I can really feel a difference on take off. The car seems to fly off the line with the super light wheels. I hear that my $2500 lawsuit check from Nissan North America was put in the mail last Thursday, so the Wilwood BBK is just around the corner! This will take my mind off the 4 point chassis brace screw up.
