Red face 03 G35 Sedan w/ 140,586

Well it's true, I am the parts manager for Inskip Infiniti and we just serviced a sedan with 140,586 miles on it. WOW!!! Overall it was in good shape, it does need a radiator and valve cover gaskets. So we have living proof that the G's can live over a 100,000. Just thought some of you would fined this interesting!!

That is great info to know, thanks for sharing! That sure is alot of miles for such a short period of time. I have had my 03 for almost 3 years, and don't even have 45K miles on it.

Thumbs up

I have no doubt that this car can go atleast 250,000 miles easily. I already have 53,500 miles on my 04 sedan. I will be keeping mine until the wheels fall off, and then I will put them back on and drive it some more.

No the customer came in for the fuel recall and complained about over heating problems and oil burning smell.

someone on 6mt.net is complaining that after a short trip (5miles), the area next to his pedal burned up quickly. stated that the carpet was hot to the touch and the metal burnt his hand

140000 on a modern japanese drivetrain is nothing. My daughter still drives our 94 civic with 230000+ and it has had nothing but timing belts, cap/rotors/ and oil/trans/coolant fluid changes. Oh, I did have to change the distributor ignition module and oil seal last year. Nothing but Mobil 1 and Amsoil universal ATF fluid since 2000 miles.

Actually, I am surprised that G needed a radiator in only 3 years. Must not have been flushing/maintaining the coolant properly.

My Nissan 240sx se when i sold it had 155,000. It was a 95. Didn't burn a single drop of oil... well, maybe a drop or two, but otherwise it ran like a champ. Miss that car, but I could move 3 cars across the country.

My 03.5 G35 has 57,000 miles on it and I check the oil regularly. It running real true.

I wonder how the car was treated for the 140,586...
Did the owner look like one of those types ?

I am glad to hear that, i plan on keeping the G for a long time, it doesnt look like a car that will go out of style anytime soon, it seems like a car that will be popular just like the supra is stil....did the owner maintain the car by the book???
