Hello everyone-
been reading for a while but first post. Love my G.

I got a 05 and sometimes about 60% of the time it gives a loud clunk sound only when shifting from 2nd to 3rd and only when shifting manually.
don't know if it comes from the tranny or differential, whole car kinda shakes.

is kinda annoying specially since the car's paid for.
can anyone help me out i've searched and haven't found threads about it.

thanks in advance.

My car has done this same exact thing too...wouldn't say my car shakes, but it does make a loud CLUNK noise....though it only happens when I hammer on the gas in Manumatic.

agreed is the same problem, mine doen't shake but is the same feeling as when you connect a rwd-car in drive.
and is only going into in third gear, in auto it never does it. Could it be the trans - module???

I get the same clunk in my M and did on my G when I shifted too early for the throttle given.
For the given throttle, try shifting later (at a higher rpm).

i've tried at different rpms for the given throttle both high and low still does it whenever it feels like it, not all the time but is too loud to ignore.

no one else...?
Ohh also my radio doesn't display any radio station nor mp3 info
and yes I've pressed the info button and held it.
Has anyoneone fixed this, or do I have to go to the dealer and get it reprogramed?
