New G35x owner
Hey everyone,
Just got a new '06 G35x sedan AT diamond graphite with Navi in March and I love it. Coming from an Audi A4 (Yuck).
I'm leasing so I'm kind of restricted on what I can do to the car but your thoughts and suggestions would be helpful. Thinking of a couple of things...
1) Nismo CAI or Z tube/JWT popcharger. Which would you recommend?
2) What other parts does Nismo make for the '06 sedan? Any help or links would be great.
3) Since the coupe sport wheels are staggered (won't work on an X) is it possible to purchase four rear wheels or 4 front wheels and use them on an x? Just curious and not sure if it's been brought up before or if it's possible.
4) Looking forward to chatting it up on the forum. Thanks in advance.
P.S. I'm located in Westchester, NY if there are any other G fans around here.

Welcome to the boards and hope your enjoying the ride. As you already mentioned since your leasing, bolt-ons are your best bet for mods. I'd go with the Z-tube with K&N Filter as a first. The staggered setup won't work on the x. I think all four wheels from the coupe are the same size, its just the tires that are different in size, someone help confirm that.

Thanks Mrgags. I thought the setup was staggered too. Still confused. Why go with four fronts? Go with four rears. If they're indeed staggered, they'd probably have a bigger lip and look better. I have no real idea if they do.
The dealership told me I couldn't get sport wheels because they were different sizes. I don't see why we could get four fronts or four rears... I'm gonna look into it.
