Does the Y pipe fit on the sedan.?

The X and FX use totally different oem Y-pipes.
All G35 coupe, G35 sedan and 350Z oem Y-pipes are the same exact parts.
Not all oem aftermarket Y-pipes will make sense to add on since most all are designed for use with 80mm single piped aftermarket systems DOWNSTREAM. Tanabe's Y-pipe uses a 70mm outlet and Fujitsubo makes one to if you order one specifically for the G35 whereas the one ment for the Z has a 80mm outlet. Though on the whole I'm certainly not a fan of the oem Y-pipe.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Motordyne XYZ with resonator module, MD resonated mid pipe, MD Sedan VQ muffler and the MD ART pipes is the best sedan exhaust out there but good luck finding one. I think the best relatively inexpensive exhaust available these days is the MD ART pipes, MD XZY with resonator, MD resonated mid pipe and Magnaflow muffler.
You could get into one of the ultra high-end titanium exhausts but now you're talking big $$.
