What is the sweet spot in terms of leasing and the number of years. I see some ridiculously low payments every now and then I know the residual value plays a big part in the payment terms.

Keep in mind that if you are going to use your own bank for a lease, or the dealers for that matter, you can still negotiate on the price. Just don't tell them that you plan on leasing before you get to the negotiation table.

I went to my local dealership and was looking at new 06s...they are offering 4.9% interest for 60 months until July 5th and a loaded g35 sedan minus navi would lease for $369 a month for 36months... I dont know how much would be due at signing but the sales agent told me infiniti has a lot of money to give back to the customers for the next few months. They didnt have any manual trannys out there so Im waiting to hear back from them. Im sure you can get a heck of a deal wherever you are located at.

I have never leased but I'd be curious to know if those lease terms are for the sticker price or is the price of the car reduced some.

I looked into this and the mileage they give you per year was VERY low on a lease. I drive 35k + year and my payments were going to reach near $800/mo.
