Has anyone lowered their RWD sedan with 350z roadster suspension. I picked up a set from an 05, and was originally planning on just using the shocks, but thinking about using the springs as well. Do they lower as much as the regular 350z coupe suspension? Thanks in advance.

i've been an 05 Z suspension(sport iirc) for about a year.....will drop 1" all around.....ride and handling vastly improved over the sedans sport package.

Part numbers do differ for the shocks as well as the color coding on the springs. But I have had the springs in hand and I've verified that they are the same specs as the 04.5+ revised spring rate wise 314/427.

Without shock dynos I can't comment on how the roadsters shocks may differ vs revised 04.5 shocks. But given that the rates are the same and Nissan generaly is good about tipping us off about differances, I doubt they differ in a meaningfull manner. Not sure if the roadster's more g35 like weight, may mean a slight change in shock valving, we don't see Tokico doing that with their D-spec shocks, they are valved the same for the G or Z between both version's of the shock. Koni also did not revalve their shock for the G either.

From what I know the Roadster suspension is slighter different to make up for the the added 200 lbs over the Coupe.
