Sunshade cover

Is there any difference in the windshield of 03-04 and 05-06 sedan? I haven't heard or seen anything that suggested such.

My problem is the sunshade that infiniti(grubbs) sells does not cover completely the sides of the front windshield. I am use to the front being covered completely. Without any amount of space on the sides.

If any one has ordered through a diff outlet. Could you please share where you bought from? Any suggs needed.

My experiences.
1. Grubbsperf--1/2 to 1" space on sides
2. Pepboys---accordian style, bunches up not the cleanest of designs

I believe the highest quality sunshade you can buy is the Covercraft UVS100. It's an accordian fold type, but it's very well built and custom fits my 2004 sedan perfectly. I don't know if the 2005/06 sedan has the same windshield.

Well, it's not friction tight! There may be a 1/4 - 1/2" space, but the assembly needs some tolerance to avoid fit problems with thermal expansion, etc. Also, the accordion folds have a little bit of "play" (in order to fold flat). No Infiniti logo!

I got one from the dealer for ~$20 and it fits well but does have a little space in a couple places.

I have one also. My OCD is making it difficult for me ignore the spaces on the side. I was looking for one that had a tight fit. Thanks everyone for the responses. Maybe I should up my medication.

Personally, I like the Canvasworks HeatShield. It's usually the one they sell at the dealerships. Silver on one side, white on the other, and it rolls up. You can order direct, too. www.canvasworks.com

Same pattern for 03-06 Sedan.

I bought current one used from a member(it has space on the sides). I thought maybe he got his from a diff vend. I then ordered from Grubbs. Delivered and discovered it is exactly the same. I returned the Grubbs. I am now freaking out . Because my OCD is focusing on the space on the sides . I know there are much better things to focus on. But as dumb as it sounds, It just grabs and holds my attention whenever I put it up.
Sucks to be me.
