Why did nissan make the 03-04 altimas unicolor....and not the infiniti 35?....does ne one esle find that weird?? I meant he black lower portion which anyone who has one drives us crazy when we see how much better the new one looks with the unicolor.

second thought of the night would the altima sideskirts fit on the g35?? if so im thinking altime side skirts...which are much cheaper/ semi agressive with a aero/nismo front bumper.

But back on topic... I think Infiniti was copying the same model year Audi A4s, which had the charcoal-grey rocker panels. Just get them painted body-color with rock-guard paint and you'll be happier.

If I'm not mistaken, that was a BMW trait at one time as well, so since Infiniti is after BMW.................Makes sense to me.

Nah. Infiniti has done this in the past. In fact the 91-94 G20 had black lower trim. The 95 and 96 G20s had body colored lower trim just like the 05+ G35s.

As for gfolo's questions, the Altima and G35 are built on different platforms. They have different wheelbases, one is FWD, the other is RWD. You can't interchange body parts like side skirts btw the two. At least not w/o MAJOR modifications.

 

leave my altima and G35 alone.... they are two different feels in driving experience and class.
