Freon re-charge

Is it covered as part of dealer warrantee?

if you're under warranty i would assume so
because freon isnt really supposed to use up, so there must be a leak, and im pretty sure its covered under warrnaty

its not freon btw--cfc free suva r134a I believe--both trademarks from Dupont.

There are no maintenance items on the A/C except the drive belt. It is a sealed system, and if you are losing freon, you have a leak due to a defective component somewhere. This should absolutely be covered by warranty.

if you got in a car accident the body shop should've recharged your freon.

just got off the phone with a service advisor of Manhatten. ac is covered fully including r134 recharge for 1 yr/12k miles and standard warrantee applies thereafter.

but it won't be covered if you get in an auto collision. in the first year it won't have any issues anyways
