Help me decide...

Those of you that read my tread on camber is important https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v35-2003-06/108292-camber-important.html may remember that I brought a set of M45/35 sport wheels and tires for less than the cost of a new set of Toyos well my original plan was to mount my milanos to the tires that come with the M sport wheels (245/40/19) and sell the wheels to recoupe my money but now I don't know if I should just mount the Msport wheels and sell my milanos instead... Help me decide! Keep my milanos or M sport wheels?...

i can see your dilemma...hard decision...but in my opinion, i would keep the milanos just because i personally hate to use spacers...and milanos looks really clean...good luck with your decision!

I sold my set of M45 wheels and tires that I got from chad because I didn't want to deal with spacers and stuff. I never even mounted them on my car.

as long as u go the right way, spacers are just like going to lower offset...

it really comes down to which look do you like more, milanos or M sport rims

Expain this more for me... I heard that spacers put more of a strain on the suspension but what do you mean by if done correctly?...

Keep the Milanos, your car looks awesome the way it is, I don't think it would look as good with M wheels.

Keep the Milanos. The M wheels are hyper dark silver in color as you can see and they will darken the look of the car as it is silver. Plus the Milanos have the right offset and lip and look much better than the M wheels on your car.

Seems like everyone is for the milanos. I just can't wait until the M wheels/tires get here because my G is parked until they get here and I am driving a 350z so it's not so bad I still miss driving my G though...

Does it really matter what we think you should do? I would just suggest pick which ever you like more. My deciding factor to sell the wheels was because I didn't want to deal with the spacers, not because of what others thought.

I am on the fence either way... It's all discussion and who better to discuss this particular issue with?

1) Keep the Milano's
2) How could spacers strain the springs? Isn't it just like having a rim with a bigger offset?
3) Who's Z are ya driving? Do you like your G better?...and why would you have to park your car until the new wheels arrive? Is the steel belt showing thru that bad?

Actually running a 5mm spacer isn't that good because all 5mm spacers do not have a hub machined into them. Wheels are meant to be mounted on the hub, but running a 5mm spacer makes it near impossible for the wheels to seat in the hub. Your wheels will no longer be hubcenteric, rather lugcenteric, which can be a bad thing because it puts alot more stress on the wheel studs (we all seen the threads of people breaking there studs from putting on the lugs!!) and it's easier to mount them offcenter. Larger spacers, I believe 15mm maybe 10mm will have a hub machined in them, which retains the hubcenteric mounting.
