[QUOTE=(>")> G35]Actually running a 5mm spacer isn't that good because all 5mm spacers do not have a hub machined into them. Wheels are meant to be mounted on the hub, but running a 5mm spacer makes it near impossible for the wheels to seat in the hub. Your wheels will no longer be hubcenteric, rather lugcenteric, which can be a bad thing because it puts alot more stress on the wheel studs (we all seen the threads of people breaking there studs from putting on the lugs!!) and it's easier to mount them offcenter. Larger spacers, I believe 15mm maybe 10mm will have a hub machined in them, which retains the hubcenteric mounting.[QUOTE=(>")> G35]

Do you know of a 5mm spacer with the hub machined into them or a link where I can check out spacers I saw some on eBay that were $8.00 but not name brand...

3) Who's Z are ya driving? Do you like your G better?...and why would you have to park your car until the new wheels arrive? Is the steel belt showing thru that bad?
I live in Hawaii in a high rise condo building parking is a premium I have 2 garage parking spaces one for my car the other for my roommate's 350z he is deployed so I take care of his car. My girlfriend does not live with me but she stays over a lot. To keep a good parking space saved for her I have been putting my G35 on the street and when she comes I move the G so she can park in the space (Mazda Miata) so now I am driving my roommates 350z until my new tires come and we are using the G to hold her a parking space. I can say the G35 and the Z pretty much feel the same and handle the same the only difference is you sit higher in the G even with springs. However the steering is tighter in the Z which is a plus. I have 2/32 treading left on the tires I don't know how bad that is but I can see what could be steel belting...

Good deal... My guess is they probably don't make 5mm spacers with the hub ring machined into it because 5mm is awfully thin to begin with...so probably not enough "meat" on the spacer to machine it into it? Just an educated guess .
