Here's a pic of 50% on the front, 28% rear at an angle. It is more reflective when viewed straight on.

Here's 45% tint, it's a metallic tint so it has that fuzz to it. My windows actually don't look green, but the camera picked up the silverly gray color as that....

If it wasn't for the fact that my dad likes to sometimes borrow my car, I would have done 20%. But 45% looks pretty classy ad my dad doesn't have to deal with the so cali fuzz...

Here's a post from awhile back:
https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...t=97248&page=3
on page 3 pics of my tint are there and they are better representives of the color in those pics than the ones I just posted above. Above is pretty close to how dark it is...

I've had 4 different types of tint on my G ranging from 35% to 5%. I got a ticket for the 5% in the front so I think your best bet is 20%. Trust me it's dark enough, but not too dark. 15% is nice too... but 50% is useless.

Not completely useless. It blocks just as much UV as darker tint and it has only a slightly smaller heat rejection value when compared to darker shades of the same tint. Not everyone tints their windows because it makes their car look "cool". I tinted mine specifically for the UV rejection and heat rejection. If I could of afforded it, I would have gone with ceramic.

Kenny, looks great...how is it to see through at nite? How about the windshield, does it impede your vision ever...any regrets on the windshield?

I might go 35% on the windshield, that might work out good...

Doesn't Suffolk County PD ever give you fits?

I would say 50% would be too light for the rear windows. I have 35% on the rears and 50% on the front windows. Thirty percent would be good for the rears too.

looking out the front windshield with it tinted is the same as looking at the rear window with it being tinted so you get used to it. on a dark road you just have to be careful but i do have a doctor's note to make my tints legal since my eyes have a bad astigmatism.

I’m diggin' the tint^, Huber optik seems to be the standard I think that I am going for 35 on front and back windows, I don’t really like the idea of tinted windshield, but that’s just me if you have no problem with it more power to you, might go, if I can, a 50 on the rearview window, I’m glad this thread go so many helpful post thanks all, keep throwing up pics!

anything lower than 35% is way to dark..I would go with 20% in rear tho..and if possible, get 50% on front winshield..does help.
