I have a bunch of yellow bug stains on my front bumper on my 3m clearbra. I searched and found a thread where someone suggested rubbing alcohol. I tried that but it did not remove the stain.


Does anyone else have a suggestion?

Meguiar's Plast-X (OTC)

Zaino Plastic Polish or Novus Light Plastic Polish (online)

 

I have tried:

• meguires Plastic cleaner
• meguires plastic polish
• rubbing alchohol
• zaino car wash, concentrated

none seem to work.. I think the plastic polish just smears a tiny bit of the yellow around and makes the area yellow.. which is worse!

Im not sure what to do, but it looks bad.

 

I heard that you should never polish the clearbra; but dun quote from me... I believe there must be detailers on the board who will chime in

 

i'm in the same boat...mine was caused by damn butterflies splatting against the bumper. nothing has been able to get it off
